PEACEworks, will work directly with the Ex-Prisoner / Former Combatant (EPFC) community to promote capacity building, relationship development and reconciliation.

About the programme

The project is designed to assist the transition of former prisoners and ex-combatants and deliver a better future for all. 

PEACEworks is a partnership led by Co-operation Ireland and supported with funding from the PEACEPLUS Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).

How it works

PEACE works is made up of four partners – Co-operation Ireland Charter NI, Cogus, Teach na Failte - and will work with more than 4,000 participants through a range of learning seminars, resolution workshops, female support groups and developmental initiatives for young adults, to build positive relations.
